In Berlin, our team consists of over 200 employees, 80 of whom work in the Software Development, Software Testing, UX Design and Technical Documentation departments.
Your team
Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) department functions as an interface between the Customer Success / CloudOps teams and Customer Integration Services. This area handles issues concerns bug fixes for software development, SaaS infrastructure performance and the interfaces between our products and customer systems.
Your challenge
- Investigating and resolving disruptions that cannot be solved by Support or IT
- In-depth analysis of bugs, formulation of solution suggestions and direct implementation of these solutions
- Further development of critical/central software components
- Consulting and coordinating with Software Architects on architectural changes to our software as well as infrastructure optimizations in Docker and Kubernetes
- Pointing out inconsistencies within our SaaS solution
- Supporting with data migration
- Conducting code reviews for code changes across all teams and performance optimizations in software and infrastructure
- Creation of error protocols
- Cooperation with Project Management as well as our Product Owners
- Active participation in interdisciplinary project groups

Your qualifications
- Degree or extensive training in an IT-related field or other relevant experience
- Multiple years of experience in the field of software development
- Customer/user focused mindset to ensure the best possible use of our software
- Experience in operating web applications (PHP, MySQL, Apache) is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and MySQL
- Knowledge of React and Symfony would be advantageous
- Exceptionally high awareness of quality
- Deep understanding of software and system architecture and software design as well as TDD/BDD
- Broad and strong ability to analyze and conceptualize as well as highly responsible, able to work in an independent and structured manner
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work in a team; strong communication skills in German and English
