In Berlin, our team consists of over 200 employees, 80 of whom work in the Software Development, Software Testing, UX Design and Technical Documentation departments.
We are now looking for a Test Automation Developer (m/f/d) in full time at our location in Cebu, Phillippines.
Your team
Our QA team is characterized by independence, eye level and collegiality. Everyone is involved and works on workflows and test basis to optimize them. This does not stop at departmental boundaries. For the majority of QA staff, the focus is on manual testing, while other colleagues are concerned with test automation. This includes a close exchange with the team manager. As part of a UI test automation team, you will be responsible for the further development and optimization of the UI automated tests of our platform.
Your challenge
- Expansion and maintenance of our UI automation tests
- Configuration and Optimization of the existing test framework (Playwright) and associated pipelines in GitLab
- Support and coaching of developers
- Perform code reviews in order to preserve product quality
- Creating meaningful and useful documentation

Your qualification
- Knowledge and experience in test automation (especially with Playwright)
- Profound knowledge in TypeScript
- Knowledge of design patterns in test automation (e.g. Page Object Pattern)
- Expert in our tool chain GitLab/Playwright
- Eager to continuously learn new things and stay up to date with latest technologies
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Follow code conventions and standards
- Familiar with software architecture, software design patterns and TDD/BDD
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Fair and cooperative team player
