We are Quentic. Our mission is to provide clarity and orientation in the area of occupational safety, environmental, quality and sustainability management (HSEQ) and to create digital solutions. In Berlin, our team consists of over 200 employees, 80 of them work in our Development Center in the departments Software Development, Software Testing, UX Design and Technical Editing.

Your Team

You will join one of two backend teams primarily focused on the further development of the Quentic platform and work closely with four developers, a product owner, a manual tester and an agile coach following the Scrum methodology.

 

Your Challenge

  • (Further) development of the backend of our software with Symfony 5 in agile teams
  • Software design according to clean code principles
  • Development of technical requirements from user stories
  • Prototyping and development of new concepts
  • Ensuring software quality through TDD, adherence to CodeStyles and consideration of our Definition of Done

Your Qualification

  • IT-related studies or comparable training
  • Several years of experience in test-driven software development (TDD) with PHP
  • Very good knowledge of Symfony 5
  • Passion for object-oriented programming according to Clean Code principles
  • Experience in documentation and concept development (ERM, UML, flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.)
  • Ideally experience in the maintenance and further development of microservice landscapes
  • You have a love of detail, the ability to work in a team and are goal-oriented
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory, German is desirable
