Branch offices are located in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy.

70 of them work in our Development Center in the departments Software Development, Software Testing, UX Design and Technical Editing. The frontend team is primarily concerned with the (further) development of the application and usability.

Your challenge

  • (Further) development of our single page application and the mobile application 
  • Development of new software architectures in the frontend 
  • Joint digital product development in the SCRUM team, from conception to implementation and documentation 
  • Refactoring of the existing application based on modern web technologies 
  • Execution of code reviews as well as creation of unit, integration and surface tests to improve product quality 
  • Conception and implementation of user experience designs in close cooperation with the UX team 
    Realization of projects in personal responsibility 
  • Onboarding of new employees as well as support and coaching of the frontend team

Your qualification

  • IT-related degree or comparable education or relevant experience 
  • Deep knowledge in ECMAScript 5, 6 (JavaScript), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, PHP knowledge is welcome. 
  • Very good knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, such as React 
  • You know the differences between FP and OOP and can use both styles effectively depending on the situation 
  • Experience with UniDirectional data flow architectures (Redux) and RxJS (Promises and Observables)
  • Practice in cross-browser development (JavaScript, DOM, CSS) 
  • Experience in developing complex applications 
  • Understanding of software architecture, software design and of TDD / BDD 
  • Broad knowledge of development environments and version controls 
  • Very high quality awareness, conceptual and analytical skills 
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills in English and German
